Any topic necessitates the use of writing. Even mathematics, particularly in fields like statistics, often necessitates written argumentation. We will address the challenges of student writing proficiency by putting a far higher emphasis on a variety of writing styles. This is particularly true in middle school, as students are moving from the foundational skills learned in elementary school to the higher levels of thought expected in high school and beyond.
This course will focus on various genres in writing expressions from NARRATIVE ESSAYS to WRITING ANALYTICALLY.
It would take time for students to know how to weave all the elements together, which is why each lesson can only cover one genre at a time. As students complete each object, they can combine it with the previous ones. Eventually, they will have a fully fleshed-out story and analysis of other elements to proudly share with their classmates and families.
